for conservation of Energy and preservation of our environment.
We will comply with all the statutory regulations and acts pertaining
to energy conservation and may even go beyond these to attain sustained
excellence in the field of energy management and energy efficiency.
We consider energy management aspects an integral part of all our
activities relating to refining, storage, despatch and marketing
of petroleum products. Based on these guiding principles, we shall
continuously endeavor to reduce the consumption of energy in any
form without impairing productivity and commit to develop, implement
and sustain Energy Management as a movement through participation
at all levels by:

Remaining at the technological forefront through continuous up gradation of in-house expertise and absorption of latest technologies with
respect to
energy management. Continuously reviewing the energy consumption
norms and benchmarking with the best in the refining industry. Periodically
carrying out the energy audits and promptly correcting the deficiencies. |

Reviewing all new projects with respect to energy conservation and
adopt
energy efficient technologies. Fostering the spirit of participation
by all
employees in energy conservation efforts. Imparting regular training
to create awareness amongst employees on efficient use of energy.
Undertaking social responsibility to educate, share and promote
energy and environment conservation aspects with others in the vicinity. |
