NRL has a lean and compact Vigilance Department which plays a proactive role by focusing attention on preventive vigilance and ensuring streamlining of rules and procedures in every area which requires attention. It’s work area encompasses handling and investigation of complaints received from individuals, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP&NG), and other sources, preventive vigilance like surprise inspections, regular scrutiny of procurement and contract files, scrutiny of property return of employees etc. and coordination with Govt. statutory authorities and other Departments etc.
