The company has made significant progress in the use of Information Technology for managing its resources. Since its inception the Company has been guided by the principle of making use of Information Technology as a strategic tool of management. The Company implemented an ERP solution of M/s Ramco Systems in October 1998 in phases to integrate all the business functions of the Company.  

With the changing business requirements and a new thrust by the Company to diversify into retail marketing of its products, a need was felt to upgrade the current ERP System to cater to new challenges emerging due to new business processes being adopted by the Company to sell its products. Extensive studies were carried out on the requirement of the new business processes to be adopted by the company. The company has selected SAP (System Applications & Products in Data Processing). ERP suite to cater to the new business processes as well as upgrading the existing processes and also to get the synergistic benefit with the other Group Companies - BPCL and KRL The process of implementation is already over and SAP have gone live on 1st of August 2005.
